LEARN TO SKATE & LEARN
TO PLAY
This season CYHA will be offering two programs for new
skaters/players. The Learn to Skate & Learn to Play
programs will be offered in one hour sessions on Saturday afternoons between
12:00 – 2:00. Each program will run for
a period of 12 weeks and both are scheduled to begin on Saturday, December 1st.
The total cost for each 12 week program will be $175.00. Registrations will be held
at the rink on Wednesday, November 7th & 14th between
6:30 – 7:30 p.m.

Ø
All Learn to Play participants will be
required to wear a full set of hockey equipment.
Ø
The Learn to Play program will consist
primarily of 3 on 3 cross ice games with instruction.
Ø
All Learn to Skate participants will be required to wear a HEC
certified hockey helmet with full face mask. (hockey/winter gloves and
shin/knee pads are highly recommended)
Ø
$175.00 program fee will be required at registration.
Ø
Space is limited; once the maximum level of participants has been
reached a wait list will be started.
Ø
It is recommended that individuals signing up for learn to play
have previously completed the Learn to Skate program.
Ø
Skaters must be at least five years of age as of 12/31/2007 to
participate. (birth year no later than 2002)
