CYHA is a member of the Greater Boston Hockey League (GBL - www.gbyhl.org) as well as the Middlesex Yankee Girls Conference (MYC -www.mycgl.com ).
In addition, our first year Mite team will be playing in an Instructional League based out of Stoneham MA.
All information about practices and games are available on the CYHA website which is integrated with both the GBL and the MYC website.
Practices
Typically the teams will have 2 practices a week (1 hr each), with a weekend game. Practices are held at our rink in Charlestown. The rink is scheduled to open Nov 1st. We will post practice times prior to the rink opening.
Please check back for practice times and places for September and October. We are in the process of securing ice time for this time period prior to our rink opening.
Registration
All players and coaches must register directly with USA Hockey. This registration will need to take place in the fall of 2009 to ensure that players and coaches have proper USA hockey registration and insurance.
Note: the $35 USA/Mass Hockey registration fee will be paid directly to USA hockey through their website.

-
Any player who paid the registration fee during try-outs should deduct $100 from the above dues list.
-
The registration fee is non-refundable. No refunds after October 15, 2009. Refund requests must be received in writing and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
The payment schedule for the 2009-2010 season is as follows:

-
Second Payment - 33% of total dues to be paid by September15th

Final Payment – Remainder of total dues to be paid by October 15th
As mentioned, all players must register online with USA Hockey before 10/1/2009. To do so please visit www.usahockeyregistration.com
This separate registration fee is mandated and determined by USA Hockey (last year it was $35.00) and must be paid via credit/debt card. It’s important to note that a player can not be added to an official team roster until this separate registration process has been completed.
Failure to meet the above payment schedule will result in your son/daughter not being assigned to a team and may result in suspension from the program until all payment issues have been resolved.
