Charlestown Youth Hockey Learn to Skate Program
Charlestown Youth Hockey's Learn to Skate program will begin in November.
All Learn to Skate sessions will take place at the Charlestown Rink on Union Street on Saturday afternoons from 12:00 - 12:50 pm.
This programs runs for 14 weeks and is open to boys and girls ages 4 and up. Emphasis is on the fundamental skills of skating, including forwarding skating, turning and stopping.
Those interested in playing hockey will be introduced to the sport by using stick and puck.

Required Equipment - In addition to hockey skates, all players must wear a hockey helmet (not a bicycle helmet). It is strongly suggested for the helmet to be fitted with a cage or a full face shield.
Participants should have heavy gloves or mittens, knee pads and elbow pads, (no hockey sticks).
