Lil Bruins Academy
Charlestown Youth Hockey is excited to once again partner with Bruins Academy Learn to Play presented by Pure Hockey to help aspiring, youth hockey players develop their skills. The program is available to both girls and boys.
The $225 registration fee includes a full set of equipment to keep (valued at over $600 retail), skates, a professional personalized fitting, and four weeks of on-ice instruction led by certified coaches.
- All players must be between the ages of 5-9 as of October 1, 2025; space is limited.
- This program is for first-time hockey players only.
- Registration is not permitted if the player has already participated in Bruins Academy and/or has registered for a USA Hockey number.

Players must be ages 5 to 9 as of October 1, 2025
Where
All sessions will be held at the O'Neil Memorial Rink, 150 Rutherford Ave, Charlestown, MA.
When
The program runs for 4 Saturdays starting October 18th and ending on November 8th
equipment
The following equipment is included:
- Skates
- Shoulder pads
- Elbow pads
- Hockey gloves
- Hockey pants
- Shin guards
- Jersey
- Socks
- Stick
- Neck guard
- Helmet
- Equipment bag
In addition to the equipment provided, we recommend that you purchase a mouth guard and athletic supporter.
